1. Your skin should be in good healthy
condition before the procedure. For instance if you have a cold
sore, scab, cut or active skin condition in the area to be tattooed
it is not advisable to move forward with your procedure.
2. Your cosmetic
tattooing will appear swollen and darker immediately following the
procedure. It is advised not to make social plans the same day.
3. Please bring your
favorite makeup pencils & lip colors with you to your
appointment so we will know the colors that you feel comfortable
with.
4. If unwanted
hair is usually removed in the area to be treated, tweezing, waxing,
laser or electrolysis should not be done at least 48 hours before
the procedure due to skin irritation and should not be resumed for 2
weeks.
5. Skin peels,
microdermabrasion, or laser treatments should not be done for 1 week
prior to the procedure and at least 2 weeks after.
6. If you dye your eyelashes or eyebrows
please do it at least 48 hours before the procedure and do not
resume for 2 weeks after.
7. If you normally wear contact lenses
please arrange to wear a pair of glasses after an eyeliner procedure
and do not replace your lenses for up to 48 hours.
8. If you are having
an eyeliner procedure and are concerned your vision will be impaired
it is recommended that you have someone available to drive you
following the procedure.
9. If you are having a lip procedure and
have had previous problems with cold sores it is likely to
re-activate the problem. You may want to call your doctor or dentist
and ask them about a prescription medication called Zovirax or
Acyclovir to minimize the risk of an outbreak.
10. If you are normally a blood donor it
is the blood banks policy not to collect blood for 12 months
following a tattoo procedure.
11. You must be 18 years of age in the
state of California to get a tattoo.
12. On the day of your procedure please
make arrangements for your children, as you will not be able to
attend to them while you are being worked on. For liability reasons
they will not be allowed to play outside unsupervised.
13. Please make other
arrangements for your pets on the day of your procedure. Dogs or
Cats will not be permitted in the building as they may cause
allergic reactions for other customers.

packet of information, sign and date and we will go over any
